Family Day "Arms, Armor and Amore"
After a highly successful collaboration in 2006, The Oakeshott Institute and Arms & Armor were invited back in February of 2007 to participate in "Arms, Armor and Amore" a Family Day program at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

More than 3100 museum goers and their children got to try on armor, handle items from The Oakeshott Institute Collection, watch a knight don a full suit of armor, and hear presentations on heraldry and the age of Chivalry. We'd like to thank the MIA for the opportunity to reach a wide audience of enthusiastic participants.
